    Rita is the head of the official seed testing lab in Tavazzano, Italy. The lab is involved in seed certification and testing for other purposes, such as export of seed (ISTA certificates), registration of new varieties, verification of adventitious presence of GMO in non-GMO seed lots, upon request of private and public applicants. A wide range of species tested, including agricultural, flowers and vegetables. Rits is active in ISTA, serving as chair of the Flower Seed Testing Committee and a member of other committees.
